My projects and assignments

Working abroad and scaling up technical and commercial organizations such as Ahold Delhaize, Albert Heijn, Essent, RWE AG and Essent learned that your brand is where the candidate journey begins and talent attraction starts. I work alongside the talent journey, have led various employer branding, talent acquisition and digital technology projects successfully and managed a variety of international stakeholders within complex and international matrix organizations. Working in HR, Branding and Corporate Relations departments help me to close the gap between (brand) strategy, talent acquisition, candidate experience and use of technology.  

Ahold Delhaize 

Manager Total Talent Acquisition Europe

I lead talent to their seat at Ahold Delhaize and our great family of local brands in Europe. Responsible for TA innovation, transformation and delivery. I build, grow and develop the EU Talent Acquisition & Marketing Team and take care of talent attraction throughout all forms of candidate engagement. This includes permanent, contractor and temporary roles. I look after the design (UX), development and deployment of our TA delivery model and the to be build talent marketing platform, servicing 8 brands in 6 European markets (220.000 associates in Europe) With the team we boost brand experience, accelerate talent acquisition efforts, look after cost savings, contracts, partnerships, capability building and scalability of talent solutions across brands and borders. We work with 420.000 associates globally to help people eat well, save time and live better.


Consultant Employer Branding & Candidate Experience (Brand Booster) 


How do you create the right types of interaction, touchpoints and brand experiences for (potential) candidates of which Lightyear 99% never meet or even hire? Lightyear was my launching customer in 2021 and during this 2-day Employer Brand & Candidate Experience Booster, we turned Lightyears talent attraction strategy, via digital post-its and target group insights, into a consistent and engaging candidate experience design. By designing memorable brand experiences we grew Lightyears employer brand organically.  

innogy SE (part E.on), Essen Germany

Group Employer Branding & Strategic Talent Marketing Manager 


Innogy SE (part of E.ON) is with 40.000 employees one of Europe largest renewables energy companies and became Europe's fourth most valuable energy brand within only 18 months. I was based in Essen, Germany and looked after the execution of innogy’s go-to-market strategy as a multi-brand employer in Europe after the IPO in 2015. Responsible for brand activation and localization of EVP #PIONIERGEIST across 12 markets, the design and implementation of our multilingual careers website and data analytics for data-driven decision making and performance-based marketing. In addition to brand, website and analytics I looked after the global implementation of our applicant tracking system (ATS) for data-driven decision making and hiring.

Essent &  

Head of Commercial Recruitment & Employer Branding

Responsible for employer branding and recruitment marketing for RWE/innogy SE subsidiaries Essent and in The Netherlands. TA Lead for the CCO business which includes Customer Service (2000fte), business development, innovation and our in-house strategy consulting practice. Responsible for upscaling our direct sales channel (shop-in-shop) onboarding and hiring 600 new colleagues yearly with a team of 3 recruiters. Implemented performance based recruitment marketing and programmatic advertising and reduced cost per hire by 60%.

Drive the recruitment, employer branding and talent engagement strategy for AH Technology as food & tech company. Accelerating employer brand performance and digital talent acquisition efforts for our key segments Data - Digital - Tech. Upscaling the AH e-commerce business (volume recruiting) by using digital automated and smart scalable tooling and create awareness, attractiveness and engagement around the AH brand, the e-commerce business and open vacancies.

NN Group

Global Manager of Employer Brand, EVP & Recruitment Marketing

NN Group

Lead the global design, development and execution of NN's employer branding and talent attraction strategy as multi-brand employer (15000fte) in Europe and Japan. I looked after our employer brand performance (KPI's). Responsible for candidate experience, global onboarding and our digital talent footprint which includes the design (UX) and technical implementation of NN's global careers platform (Phenom People). This platform services 18 countries and multiple brands such as OHRA, Nationale-Nederlanden, NN Investment Partners, ABN AMRO Insurance, Movir, Zicht and AZL.

Essent / RWE 

Head of Technical Recruitment & Power Plants BeNeLux


Leading a team of technical recruiters and responsible for recruitment at 11 hard power plants in the Benelux (1200 fte). Staffed a newly build RWE power plant in Eemshaven, Groningen with 140 technical / energy specialists of which 40% is relocated to the Groningen area. This 1600 megawatt plant required a 3 billion Euro investment and provides energy to 2.5 million households.

In this converging and international project lead role, with a companywide and European focus, I developed in co-creation with my multidisciplinary and international team of 6, the data driven inbound and outbound talent acquisition strategy for RWE (80.000 employees).
